terrible day at work. well at least its the weekend. I hope everyone ard me stop pissing me off!

In life sometimes u need to cheat a little to win

So this season of Amazing race was just plain terrible. Esp the lastleg..where the tasks were like so out of point and just dont seem to set them apart. And it seemed like the message the show had sent is sometimes u need to cheat a little in life to win. I felt the winners were losers in our hearts. How much is your integrity worth?Thats the key question that probably sets people apart. Thats the key question that makes someone do what they did or do what they will do.

TGIF./ well not really cos its a long day tmr. i am a little more stress these days. its really hard not doing the job itself but working with people who are so vastly different and weird in my opinion. sometimes i lay on my bed and the things that happened in the day kept playing in my mind. oh well. such is life.

Strive to stop Striving

Fri was supposed to be our 2nd year anniversary. But anyway, we went to JB today. Caught IP MAN 2 in Cantonese. Thank goodness for the english subtitle. But i actually thought watching th show in cantonese made the show more cool. Really like the phrase" Strive to stop striving in the show". Anyway the show is Hou geng ah! I thought it was better than Iron Man 2. My friend was just saying " If you are watching a Marvel Hero action show and most of the time he is not the Marvel hero he is supposed to be, the show probably wont turn out too good. Well..it's like if you are watching Spider man and most of the time, you see Peter Parker rather than Spider man, then something is wrong. But anyway back to IP MAN 2, yea it was entertaining and u feel damn good watching it. Not as good as IP MAN 1 in my opinion but still worth the watch:)

So anyhow, we dopped by Seoul Garden for buffet dinner. Goodness i think the last time i ate Seoul Garden was with the evil brother from Ames and i vaguely remembered cooking pig. So thats like 2 years? Always liked Seoul Garden. Speaking of which, i think i have had too much food these days. Friday was a Soup Restaurant with Samsui Chicken, Herbal Chicken soup etc and then dinner was Belgian food at Hogbreath's cafe with the NPS peeps. Love the clams, mussels, Belgian Sausuage and pork belly.
As the saying of a young working adult goes: " Nothing beats good food, good company and good beer on a friday night ."

미안합니다 ( Sorry)

Don't know why but these days, the word sorry irks me. People say "Sorry" not because they mean it but because they expect the word to take away any wrong doings. It's almost as if, by saying sorry, everything else doesn't matter. I look down on people for say sorry and expect others to forget and forgive. I abhor people who uses sorry like there's no tomorrow. Because i know they are obviously not feeling the least bit of sorry, but want to just get away with things. Sorry to them is just their way of pretending to feel bad about something and hopefully because they have so called apologies, you shouldn't be bothered anymore. U see, i use the word thinking. Because to me, as long as u did something wrong, there's no point saying sorry. Especially when u use it lavishly, it's like you don't really mean it anyway. There are some who do something which they know obviously will get to you but then, later dismiss it with the word sorry or expect you to forgive them just cos they said sorry. Please, dont make a fool out of yourself in front of me.
To me, you dont render a single tinge of forgiveness from me. You might as well dont use it. It's just so f****** fake.
I give you a ficticious example " Sorry i can't come today..i got something on last min" .
Sorry, are you really?
Oh and the worse is they dont even bother to call but just drop an sms or email.

God has created a powerful word "sorry". But dont let it be a tool for you when you have hurt others and then thinking you get away with it. It should be sincere and coming from the bottom of your heart. It's that simple.

Hello, we are hazel and nutt. we are angry with paba so we dont want to show his picture. Hmph. We hate paba.
We are blogging to make mame happy. This is mame last week when we went picnic. Mame is the niicest to us. She cuddles us and gives us nice food. We hate paba. He makes us cry and dont care about us. WE HATE U PABA!! Paba owes hazel 14 dresses!

Doesnt korean drama just make girls have overly beautiful illusion about love and high expectations? Still, it is nice to indulge in them once a while. I feel like watching the show again. I feel like a teenager all over again. HAHAHAHA.

Sigh anyhow
Was a pretty tiring day today..whole day at meeting. And then all the talk about safety.
Apparently i lost weight. Which is not good. but i think its inevitable. Cos my company's canteen sells horrible food. Lunch everyday is $2 chinese mixed rice which consist of rice and mystery meat and vegetable. But too lazy to drive out for lunch anyway. And doesnt help i sometimes forget to finsh eating my dinner cos i get distracted by the internet and tv or the poohies.

Oh well TGIF. Iron Man 2 this weekend!

So little time so much words to say

received a letter from a friend who is now far away from me. not so much of geographically but because its so hard or rather impossible for us to me. more of nevertheless, it was really heart warming to hear from him again. I think in life, there are some friends who wont be forgotten( either for the wrong reason or right reason). For him, i would say its the right reason. I think those time we spent were more of happiness. So its nice that he is well and sound given the predicament he is in now.
and aiyo before u all get the wrong idea, this friend is not an ex lover whatsoever.

emo stuff aside, i am suppose to learn how to type in korean cos i need to send email to my teacher

sunday was spent WASTING 3 hrs at the hair salon doing hair treatment and a trim. BOO. i hate going to hair salon and spending long hours there.
monday was blue. couldnt sleep on sunday partly cos of the cough that kept waking me up. so i was half awake at work. :(
everyone's falling sick these days. boo.

Here's what we do at the airport. We play with poohies and photo whores. why do i have the feeling someday someone is gg to capture us on stomp. That aside, hazel went berserk the past week. She tore photos and broke glasses. Nevertheless, the Saturday was a good one. Went for korean class, shopped at tampines. then orchard and 313 and burned a hole in the wallet at Forever 21, while tuptup did his damage at uniqolo. Really need to cut down on shopping. My weakness lies in clothes. But then again, we work so hard, it's ok to indulge right? haha.
then we went Botanical garden for a simple picnic with hazel and nutt, don't u just appreciate the moment lying under the clear blue sky (ok it was Grey skies actually) with nothing on your mind. Photos another time :)
then it was tennis at night before heading for supper at Blk 85. A short yet long day.
And can't wait for june.. Going to terrorize Poei in Melb again, am already craving for Villa Romana (if its still open) the casinos and the cool weather. Oh and this time, Gold Coast!
I love Saturday. Cos i will wake up to a lazy Sunday.

went for a stress management workshop yesterday..
Guess how stress i am??
Apparently, i am under stress and have 100% capability to cope with any impending stress.
Haa now that explains the general sluggishness towards life .

That said, had been dealt with constant bouts of disappointments. Why is it sometimes people hear but dont listen to what u have to say?

How many bad romance

It was a good long easter weekend! So we played tennis, shopped, ate Ottoya, baked, bought a new chair, caught UP and went to Junction 8. Back to work on monday. ok with regard to the previous blog post, I lied when i said i was going to continue tomorrow. Well, basically, i guess it boils down to learning to forgive but not forget. Forgive to move on, not forget to wisen up. On a side note, i am so so bad at time management. Sigh.

Can we have more long long weekend? Sigh

If you don't know what you want, anything will get you there

Can't remember where i read this. I find it interesting and partly true. It can be a good thing or a bad thing. Depending on your own interpretation. For me, If you dont know what u like, anything job, any girl/guy, anything goes. Life wont be satisfying.

So anyhow, actually i was feeling quite inspired to rant today after hearing a friend's story. But due to time constraint, i really should be reading books instead, i will cut the long story short. I just want to say, guys who cheat on their girlfriends/wives STINK. period. I am sorry. i dont care what kind of bull crap story or reason they give- Like maybe the cat peed on my blanket so i dont have feeling for you to she threw herself at me to i dont have feelings for you anymore. I know the truth is always grey, just as life is. But sometimes we make things grey when they are black or white. Again, this is contradictory as some people go with the theory there is no black or white. They say love is illogical but sometimes, let's face it, you got to put logic into the picture.
If a guy can give up his gf of 5 yrs whom he claims he loves, for someone he barely knows and whom he knows he has no future with, tell me wheres the logic? If you have truly love someone, then why inflict so much hurt in her. And you know what's the worse thing, it is the aftermath and what they do/react after that. They get together immediately with the other girl. AND, they are so not sorry about it. It's like no big deal, move on man. And so,

I think i will have to continue part 2 tomorrow or some other day. HAHA
