More of CNY..meeting up with friends.. people i have known for half my life..last fri ACKSX went around CNY visiting. THANKS SHARON for driving us around. I think it was quite fun to go around to each other's house. These days, i really hardly go out with friends anymore. On mon-fri i barely go out after work. Sometimes i feel like a hermit, so detached from the world out there. CNY visiting is also filled with lotsa suggestion that i should get married already. I am still young! hahahaha. But i also know, mentally i am getting old. Fun things that amuse me in the past no longer do so anymore. Well, bascially i would say the novelty of things wear off very fast on me to start off with. As you get older, you dun emo as much also. You start to appreciate the simplicty of life. Speaking like an old woman indeed.

Where's paba?

Someday before CNY, we went to shop shop walk walk and celebrate Vday. I think TAMPOPO Ramen is WAY OVERRATED! it wasnt as good as what i have expected. Oh well!. Gaogao and Didi bear came with us. I brought so much stuff for CNY. Will blog abt CNY next. AND AFTER CNY, I AM STILL shopping. BOO! Paba left fot thailand yesterday, so i am all alone with hazel and nutt! nutt has been crying non stop! boo wee!

In the spirit of Chinese new year

long long time ago, on the last day of 2009 we took hazel n nutt out to sentosa:P
anyhow
in spirit of chinese new year, i am on leave tomorrow and next wed. SO i am a happy girl today cos it means a long holiday ahead! and ITS CHINESE NEW YEAR!! oh man i have been eating way too much bah kwa and pineapple tarts. The contractors give us lotsa CNY goodies every year. *looks at the bulging tummy* sigh. but in spirit of chinese new year, i am going to eat n lose weigh after that!
i really like chinese new year cos of all the shopping. i like going to the supermarket or market to see what people are buying. haha

I think recently i have been kinda mia. Well i haven really been meeting up with people, i haven been reading blogs or facebook..dont really know whats have been going on around me. ironically, i am more aware of the well being of random cute guys at work more so than that of old friends. i feel like i have gone into a cocoon which consists essentially of my house, my work place and school.

to side track abit. u know i think its scary how work can change one. Especially guys. I understand perfectly that all of u are like planning to get married or whatsoever. I understand that guys tend to be a little more career minded and ambitious. but i cannot understand why being ambitious requires a little or lotsa dirty, selfish and unscrupulous behavior and actions. Maybe as we move towards working life, some become overly obsessed and zealous about getting to the top. Well u see, i used the word "overly". Which means its ok to have ambition. But to let it get over you to the extent you reveal your ugliest self, thats intolerable. And the infuriating thing is these people get away with it sometime. The people who gets to the top ultimately may not be the most capable one but the one who knows the rule of the game better or act better in front of people whose opinions mattered.

Dont lose yourself. I think by the pure works of nature, every thing in this world require some sort of balance. For every action lead to a reaction. If u have caught avatar, it's pretty much the same theory. Nature balances thing out by itself somehow. U win some but maybe you dont realise , you lose some at the same time.

Oh man. Thats a long and crappy digression.

i dun mean to say my life was interesting back then. interesting and boring is subjective. much as "chio" is.
but watever it is (oh n u start using the word whatever or phrases like "so be it") there are so many times i log in to blogger, stare at the empty space for a while then sign out.

so my days are alittle draining these days. hopefully little things keep them going
anyhow, lao bear and poei are gg back to melb today. it's not too bad cos in june (pray hard) i will be gg back to Melbourne! thats something to look forward to. (if i m still with tuptup then, haha). i think Melbourne has lotsa good memories.

and i my 15 days of pathetic leave permits, i hope to go to Hong Kong and Bangkok.

oh and CNY is coming?

Nthg much to update except i think i am getting more n more short fused. ok AND tuptup and i are starting to apply for flats. HAR. SO funny right. I am falling into those flats then get married. Actually no la, not rdy to get married yet. the future is unpredictable. i shd be happy tuptup still want to marry me after this 1.5 yrs. I mean, i m such a bitch. oh well time to slp for monday!

Nutt eating dinner

So tired these days that i almost fall asleep on the train everyday to and fro work. Somedays i have trouble going to sleep. I think for the past few years, the best time where i sleep song song ewvery night was those 6 mths in ISU. I slp from 12 to 8. Sigh.
This blog doesnt serve to update others about my life. I realise from the photos above, i am not even at xmas 09 yet. Oh well. today is fri and i finally have time to do some reading and slp! :)

HAPPY 2010 to u all who still read this random space. i think pretty soon, everyone will be after me (including my boyfriend and my mum) for not picking up calls or replying sms. LIKE WHAT THE HELL does she need a BB for right?? And then pretty soon, no one will call or sms me anymore. To that, i really apologise. :(
SO anyhow, how everyone had a good countdown to the new year.

My only resloution in 2010 is BETTER TIME MANAGEMENT.

Hope everyone had a good xmas. I dont think it's a special occasion meaning, it's not like CNY where my family celebrates..so xmas became more like a time for me to catch up with friends and SHOPPING. I think as i grow older..i like things more simple and quiet. The end of the year is always the most happening time of the year. I can remember rather vividly how the month of December was for the past 3 years. The end of the year is always more eventful. But perhaps, it's so that we can wrap things up with the closure of the year. For things of the past, let's cast them behind and walk on a new winding road. For the chancing along the road, lets embrace the opportunities with courage.
Lotsa stuff can happen can change in a year. I dont know what to expect in the coming year but let's hope for the best. :)
I came to realise my posts are weird. they are always half completed or left hanging somewhere. HAHAH

lately i've been soo soo emo.. must be the pace of life. i feel sian cos i have so many things to do so little time. wanted to keep xmas a little more simple..but was still cluttered with lotsa gatherings. not that i mind but i am a little tired. poei's back so that explains my low internet usage. haa..ok la..plus i m quite busy with i dunno what also..oh well..hope everyone had a good xmas:)
