The light before dawn

Decided to snap out of all these crap feelings and hibernating which has only amplified the negativity i felt.Met Mr K for dinner yesterday, and maybe like what he said, everything is really a matter of perspective.

As quoted from The Dark Knight ( great show by the way) "The night is darkest just before the dawn" . Life's never smooth sailing, and i guess i need to learn to deal with the darkness to see the light at the end. Maybe we dont know happiness till we go through all the unhappy stuff. We dont know what's good till we know what's bad. Somtimes, there is really so little one can do and circumstances often veer one's life off course into another direction.but in retrospect that may not necessary be a bad thing despite the initial inertia and unwillingness

Today i also realise the impact others had made in my life and how some people will always matter. If life constitutes of different chapters, then i am still thankful for going through some chapters, even if they have already ended, because they were happy ones. Good times will always be remembered.

Convocation marked the end of a chapter in my life. Studying life. Surprisingly, i didnt feel particularly thrilled at the end of it. Maybe because my academic life has always been smooth sailing. Like what i said, We dont know whats good till we know whats bad.

It's amazing how 1 year makes such a big difference. The way i was a year back, my life back then. A year is short but a lot had happened.
