msian grad night today..the last time i don make up n wore a dress was prom.i went to support my friends--oliver n chris perform.. n to meet up with people..kinda for the one last time b4 i leave ames n ISU..its a little sad to leave memories and people behind..but that's life isnt it.. many things in life are ephemeral and fleeting.. but i will bring back with me pretty memories..as i leave this life behind me
i met a couple of nice people..
oliver,chris.ziting.emmy..ivie,maria,roosa..etc..the friendship albeit short, will be something i remember for life.. these are the people who made my stay at ISU really enjoyable and fun..i will remember the times we had... its kinda weird.. that i m gonna lead another life when i return to singapore..and i will try not to look back at this psuedo american life i had here in ames.. i've learnt and experienced alot.. there's so much beautiful memories.. and for very long..i've been pondering..is it easier to leave or be left behind.. and it suddenly dawned upon today that its still easier to leave..because in a way..its like moving on. wheares being left behind means living in the lingering shadow of the past.alright..shall end off here.. time to get down to hard core mugging.. peace all=)

i do feel sad. .and i have made a couple of friends here. partings are never easy.
n the nxt 3 weeks will be very hectic.since exams are around the corner and projects are due.
but i'll cherish my remaining time in ISU

my trip was fun. california was pretty.chicago was exciting n scary! i have too many things to blog about. maybe i'll do so when i am back in Singapore. or do up a scrap bk or stuff.

and of cos.not forgetting my dear acksx. congrats to aloy.. finally. kai ling is once again the only one in singlehood in the acksx. but i m enjoying single hood and every moment of it. i say this not to make myself feel better. honestly. i feel so free.
and right now. i have more important things to worry about and to do well in. studies, work. life.countless stuff.

sometimes i wish i werent so pessimistic abt life.
or maybe i just want to be prepared for the worst n dwell in sadness.
morbid. but true. haha

i just realise i am very out of touch with singapore and current issues
why? theres a new place called vivocity? haha

and abt news in the states.. theres usa today, chicago tribune, des moines register. iowa state daily. for me to read for free.sadly i don't. except the iowa state daily which is. well... very narrow in scope.

my design project 2 was bleah. mr cute-know it all offered to write the whole report. he went like 'oh i'll write everything, unless u want to write. but well, i am voluteering to write everything''.. sure.what could i say.
thats the difference btw guys here n in singapore. the guys here are very dominant and egoistic. i don't know if thats good or bad. they want to be in control and stuff. there are alot of over achievers here. everyone's DYING to write the report n to prove themselves. whereas in singapore, we'll be pushing the load away. or TRYing our best to wiggle out of as much work as possible.. everyone wants to be a slacker. in a way. even the guys. haha. so singaporeans guy..learn to take charge sometimes. haha.
but the point is kailing doesnt like to slack or appear to be slacking.like that i dont learn anything and i appear to be like a slacker and i m pretty sure i am gonna get a very bad score for team work evaluation beacause i m like not doing anything
but anyhow. we stayed till 11 pm in the com lab to finsh the project which was due today. why? because Mr know-it-all cute guy wanted to do it all by himself. he doesnt want me or the other guy to help him type some discussions or stuff. and so all i did was to sit beside him n help him constuct tables and figure. yes. like so submissive. bleah. but what could i say. i didnt learn from from the project becasue mr know-it-all got it all covered. haha

i finally got out of campus and out of ames! thannks to roosa and tinip? wait i forgot the name.

alright i din really get much stuff...just a AE shirt.. the rest are for my bitches. ok. i m done with shopping for most people. dont expect too expensive stuff ok.. i m on low budget

kai the fat and cherry took the mall today again..i had to look for winter boots and cherry her winter coat. we r SHOPAHOLIC! haha
am now fully geared for winter. bought boots. suppose to be for up to -20 degrees kind which is why its black ugly and like that of the fishmonger's
bought a pink scarf, ear muff and a gloves
so the total damage today was about 40 usd. quite cheap huh? and i already have a winter coat n pants i bought from singapore. so yea. kai is ready for winter. and today the wind was really strong and kai the fat almost got blown away. lol

and halloween is coming! the pumpkins they sell here are huge!! cant wait for halloween to carve pumpkin..sorry. but kailing forgot her camera again. no wait she remembered her camera but forgot her battery. haha

ok weekends. study time! and not to mention spending time with my two cute guys in the sweeny com lab to do my design project. SIGH!!! not very appealing. though they are cute. i'ld rather sleep or play games or go out la! and which reminds me haha maple has a new function that tell u how long u have been playing..so today it says :you have been playing for four hours.maybe u should take a break. haha cool huh. yea. if any of u see me online n i dun reply its probably i am in maple. i m not really playing but i prefer seeing the interface and the scene there so i usually just log on n stand inside. haha
